Assault Android Cactus Collector's Edition:

IndieBox partnered with Witch Beam to create the definitive physical Collector's Edition of Assault Android Cactus for subscribers in March 2016. It's truly a collector's item (with a production run of just 6500 copies), but a limited number are available to purchase individually.

What’s in the box:

Inside this big PC-game style box, you can find some excellent collectibles. The Assault Android Cactus: Collector's Edition box includes:

  • Instruction Manual - The 24 page, full-color manual will keep your batteries charged and let you download all the necessary knowledge to battle through the Section Lords.
  • USB Fido - This USB takes the form deceptively cute enemy from the game. But instead of packing a barrage of missiles, this little guy is stowing away Windows, Mac and Linux versions of the game! DRM-Free, naturally.
  • Original Soundtrack CD - 20 outstanding tracks that will get you bobbin' your head and tapping your foot while crushing your robotic enemies or cruizin' in your car.
  • IPP Badge and ID - This is Cactus' personal IPP badge as well as her ID (complete with noted demotion) presented in a protective wallet.
  • Assault Android Buddies - Taking the iconography used in the game to represent each of the playable androids, we turned these adorable assets into a set of keychain collectibles.
  • Assault Android Starch Sticker - Our personal favorite android, Starch, gets her very own sticker. WE hope that she finds a happy home occupying your laptop or computer case.
  • Assault Android Cactus Themed IndieBox Sticker - A staple of any IndieBox.

About the Game:

When you're running on battery, make every second count!

Assault Android Cactus is an arcade style twin stick shooter set in a vivid sci fi universe. Junior Constable Cactus is outside her pay grade when she responds to a distress call and ends up stranded on a crippled space freighter under attack by its own robot workers.

Utilizing a draining battery mechanic in place of lives, Assault Android Cactus challenges you to think fast and keep the bullets flying, blending the gameplay of western styled arena shooters with aspects of Japanese style bullet hell as you charge head first through transforming stages, massive boss battles and an eclectic cast of characters on the way to saving the day.

Features:

  • 9 playable androids, each with a distinct play style and personality
  • 25 stage campaign spread across five areas of the ship, face down giant bosses, earn characters and uncover the story of the Genki Star
  • Dive into the Infinity Drive to test your skill and endurance or challenge the Daily Drive to pit your wits against the community
  • Supports keyboard or joypad and 1 to 4 players with local co-op
